Job Title: Sheet Metal Assembler
Department: Freeman Enclosure Systems
This position involves reading and understanding blueprints and/or shop drawings and assembling pre-fabricated metal housing units. Best candidate would have an industrial or construction background.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Proficient use of basic hand tools
- Accurate tape measure reading
- Basic carpentry skills and/or auto experience
- Ability to climb ladders as needed
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Preferred experience in metal fabrication and general construction background.
Forklift experience a plus.
Flexible and ability to work in other related departments between jobs.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Trade school experience, other apprenticeship experience, or on-the-job experience in related field or industry.
