We have an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic team player to join our new Customer Business and Insights Analytics team in Omnicare. This role is critical to the successful growth of the business and will analytically support new and existing products, processes and services that have a profound impact on the future direction of the company.

The Statistical Analyst will be engaged within the CBI team with a particular emphasis on performance metrics, business case development, benefit realization tracking, pilot support and overall data analytics support. This role will be required to run, design and analyze data across a number of data sources to support Omnicare operations in driving business decisions.

- Use analytical skills and logic to prepare analysis for a variety of initiatives. Analysis and materials will be prepared in a way that it is easily understood and adds value. Primary analysis will be used to identify areas of opportunity and demonstrate overall business value.
- Collect, aggregate and analyze operational data from multiple data sources to identify trends, interdependencies, root causes, and insights
- Identify opportunities for improvement and enhancement by identifying patterns and trends in performance reporting
- Answer complex business questions by preparing and executing analysis which can be presented to business partners in a way that is easy to understand.
- Build value models that forecast and track benefits realization for implemented projects
- Develop analytics in a way that they can be replicated and run in a routine manner.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Solid foundational understanding of key statistical concepts such as probabilities, central tendencies, variance, hypothesis testing and regression analysis
- Experience translating stakeholder business requirements and determining prioritization of work efforts
- Hands on experience/expertise analyzing linkages between multiple datasets and creating concise summaries for management with tools such as SAS, R, SQL or Python

Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of health care industry products/services and operations
- Experience crafting interactive visual interfaces and dashboards (Tableau, Qlikview, Microsoft Power BI)
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to construct analytic solutions to business problems
- Demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity or uncertainty and ability to learn on the fly to understand and solve new problems
- Ability to communicate effectively in a manner that is clear, logical and concise

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
