Job Description
The Regional Director of Acquisitions & Real Estate develops and executes strategies to identify, negotiate and secure Independent Pharmacy Acquisitions within an assigned territory. The Director will utilize market research, cold calling, developing networks with Pharmacy Associations and any other means necessary to secure store & file buy opportunities for CVS Health. In this highly visible and strategic role, the Director will have strong interaction with executives. In addition to pursuing pharmacy acquisitions, the position will also require market research trips to identify potential new growth opportunities for the company.
Responsibilities include:
Source, negotiate and close on purchase agreements with Independent Pharmacies.
Review and negotiate leases and land purchase agreements as needed for potential store buys.
Manage store buy entitlement process as needed.
Leverage corporate real estate support team to execute on store buy strategy.
Utilize market research information, grass root networks and cold calling to identify and pursue independent acquisition opportunities.
Manage and communicate all information relating to pharmacy acquisitions with corporate & field operations, legal, real estate and acquisitions teams.
Conduct market research to support the current real estate strategy.
Prepare packages and presentation materials for approval of deals by Senior Management.

Required Qualifications
5+ years retail pharmacy experience in Field Management or independent pharmacy management or ownership experience.
Job requires the willingness and ability to travel 90% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications
Licensed Pharmacist.
Experience with financial statements and P&L.
Must be proficient with MS Office and Adobe.
Strong negotiations skills.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be proficient with MS Office and Adobe.
Field Sales Experience.
Knowledge of Pharmacy third parties, managed care groups, and/or purchasing groups.

Bachelors Degree is required.
